NASA Langley Research Center is seeking to procure critical OEM spare parts for WH74 Superior Compressors at its 1247E Compressor Station to ensure operational readiness and meet high-pressure air demand. - Sole source procurement from A G Equipment Co, the only OEM identified for these compressor spares - The procurement covers a wide range of compressor parts, including: - Seal O-rings (multiple sizes and part numbers) - Compressor suction and discharge valves (various sizes and part numbers) - Gaskets (flat, wire, spiral, and packing types) - Packing rings (multiple types for 2.5" rods) - Rod rings (including '3RWS' and 'CRR' types) - Quantities range from 1 to 24 units per part number, with some items like O-RING Z900-838-171 totaling 44 units - NAICS code is 333912 (Air and Gas Compressor Manufacturing) - Period of performance is between 2 to 14 weeks - No price quotes will be accepted; interested parties may submit capability statements - No set-aside for small business or other categories - All parts are specified by OEM part numbers, indicating a requirement for genuine manufacturer components - Commercial competitors may exist but only A G Equipment Co is specified as the OEM - Estimated contract value likely ranges from $50,000 to $250,000 based on scope and quantities

Synopsis:

NASA/NSSC has a requirement for Critical OEM Spares for Compressors. 

NASA/NSSC intends to issue a sole source contract to A G EQUIPMENT CO, 3401 W Albany ST Broken Arrow, Oklahoma 74012, under the authority of FAR 12.102(a). It has been determined that A G EQUIPMENT CO is the sole provider of Critical OEM Spares for Compressors

NASA/NSSC will be the procuring center for this effort. Performance will be located at NASA/ Langley Research Center (LARC).

The Government intends to acquire Commercial items or services using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 for Commercial

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 333912.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 8/20/2026. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
