This opportunity is a market research request from the U.S. Air Force for a Sensor Agnostic Emulator Trainer (SAET) to modernize training within the Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). - The Air Force seeks vendors capable of designing, developing, and delivering a modular, sensor-agnostic emulation platform. - The SAET must simulate diverse sensor data feeds for operator training in realistic environments. - Solution must integrate with the DCGS Open Architecture (OA) baseline and support distributed operations. - Requirements include: - Software integration, sustainment, and configuration control - Agile project management, financial management, contracts, quality assurance, configuration management, data management, systems administration, in-plant engineering, security, lifecycle maintenance - Use of a secure System Integration Lab (SIL) for software development, testing, and validation - Support for modernization, development, logistics, and sustainment services - No specific OEMs, products, or part numbers are named; the Air Force is seeking information from capable sources. - The procurement is expected to be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with task orders issued individually. - Interested vendors should review the RFI and contact the Contracting Officer for the draft Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Description

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise and the capabilities to meet the qualification requirements to provide design, develop, and deliver a Sensor Agnostic Emulator Trainer (SAET) in support of the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS). While the broader AF DCGS enterprise collects, correlates, and collaborates on multi-source intelligence to deliver near real-time actionable data to warfighters, this specific effort focuses on training modernization. The Contractor shall develop a modular, sensor-agnostic emulation platform capable of simulating diverse sensor data feeds to train operators in highly realistic environments. Additionally, the Contractor shall provide software integration, sustainment, and configuration control to ensure the trainer aligns with the DCGS Open Architecture (OA) baseline and can be deployed to the National Mission Partner Network to support distributed operations and training.
