The FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR), Division of Bacterial Products and Allergenic Products (DBPAP), Laboratory of Bacterial Polysaccharides (LBP), Structural Biology Group is seeking a modern CD Spectropolarimeter System. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) - Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) - Office of Vaccines Research and Review (OVRR), Division of Bacterial Products and Allergenic Products (DBPAP), Laboratory of Bacterial Polysaccharides (LBP), Structural Biology Group - OEMs and Vendors: - Jasco (referenced for trade-in equipment) - Products Requested: - CD Spectropolarimeter System (including autosampler, Peltier control, software, and PC) - Factory-certified installation and performance verification services - Trade-in of Jasco J-810-150S CD spectropolarimeter - On-site operator training for at least two attendees - Services Requested: - Two option years of post-warranty preventative maintenance and unlimited repairs (12 months each) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must support high-throughput automated sampling - Factory-certified installation, calibration, and performance verification - On-site operator training covering system operation, calibration, optimization, troubleshooting, and maintenance - Trade-in of existing Jasco J-810-150S system in excellent condition - Warranty period followed by two optional 12-month post-warranty maintenance periods - Delivery, installation, qualification, and training required within 90 days of contract award
