The USDA Forest Service, Tahoe National Forest, is seeking a contractor for the GAOA Sand Pond Trail Boardwalk Replacement project. - Government Buyer: - USDA Forest Service, Southwest Region, Tahoe National Forest - Project Scope: - Removal and disposal of existing boardwalk, bridge, and lumber debris - Installation of a new 4-foot-wide accessible boardwalk (approx. 1100 feet) - Construction of a 25-foot standard sawn timber trail bridge - Erosion control using 20 cubic yards of crusher fines - Delivery and stockpile of crushed aggregate surface course - Site safety, traffic control, and mobilization - Products/Services Requested: - Boardwalk materials and installation (1100 linear feet) - Bridge materials and installation (1 unit) - Crusher fines for erosion control (20 cubic yards) - Removal of improvements (existing bridge, boardwalk, lumber debris) - Mobilization, clearing, grubbing, erosion control, site safety, and traffic control - Unique Requirements: - Boardwalk foundation specified as Diamond Pier DP-75 (or equivalent) - Accessibility features (pullouts, wheelchair accessible path) - Contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and safety measures - Small business set-aside, including economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named; all technical details and specifications are in attachments.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
