Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announces the award of approximately $15,000,000 for Federal Fiscal Year 2026 funding to the Public Health Center (PHC) of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The award aims to advance HIV and TB epidemic control in Ukraine by enhancing integrated HIV service delivery, improving antiretroviral therapy initiation and retention, and strengthening the national laboratory system to respond to emerging pathogens. The award period is from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031, with funding for years 2-5 set at continuation. The PHC is the sole entity capable of carrying out this work as the lead national public health institution in Ukraine.
