NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is seeking perimeter security upgrades at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC - Scope of Work: - Removal and replacement of four drop arm gates with new swing arm gates at Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ) access routes - Includes demolition, concrete work, metals fabrication, painting, traffic signage, earthwork, pavement markings, and sodding - Products and Materials: - Four swing arm gates (steel construction) - Cast-in-place concrete for footings and slabs - Structural steel for gates, bollards, hinges, and guard posts (per AWS and ASTM standards) - Paint and coatings for exterior metalwork (meeting MPI and SSPC standards) - Traffic sign posts (steel and wood, per ASTM and AASHTO) - Retroreflective sheeting for traffic signs (ASTM D4956 compliant) - Flexible, impact-resistant posts with retroreflective plates - Reflective thermoplastic pavement markings - Certified centipede grass sod for landscaping - Unique Requirements: - Strict safety and environmental compliance - Quality control and inspection procedures - Use of NAVFAC's eCMS for document management - Extensive submittal and inspection requirements - No specific OEMs or part numbers are identified; products must meet referenced industry standards.

This work includes replacement of existing drop arm gates with new swing arm gates at BEQ access routes. Only the MACC holders listed on the first page of the solicitation may submit a proposal for this project. See attached RFP for additional information.
