Statewide Early Childhood Mental Health Training Using DC:0-5™ Curriculum

This opportunity from the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) seeks a provider for statewide early childhood mental health training. - Government Buyer: - New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH), Central Office, Office of Prevention and Health Initiatives - OEM Highlight: - Zero to Three (developer and owner of DC:0-5™ curriculum) - Vendors/Providers: - Agencies or providers with at least five years of experience in early childhood mental health - Products/Services Requested: - Statewide training in DC:0-5™ (Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood) - At least two live virtual DC:0-5™ trainings per month (12 hours each) - Four in-person training sessions - Six refresher sessions - Monthly Community of Practice and Learning Collaborative calls - Foundational Training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) - Minimum of twenty 1-hour training modules (live webinars, recorded sessions, LMS modules) - Topics include perinatal mood disorders, trauma, cultural context, developmental disorders, and family dynamics - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Trainings must use the Zero to Three DC:0-5™ curriculum - Provider must supply participant materials and CEUs for LMSWs, LCSWs, and LMHCs - Applicants must be based in New York State, have relevant experience, and be members of the NYS Trauma Informed Network and Resource Center - Provider must track and report training activities - Estimated Contract Value: - $1,000,000 for a one-year term

Description

The NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) is seeking letters of interest to provide one-time funding to an agency or provider capable of offering statewide training in the Diagnostic Classification of Mental Health and Developmental Disorders of Infancy and Early Childhood (DC:0-5™) and Foundational Trainings in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH). The training aims to enhance mental health services for children birth to five and their families by supporting workforce development and promoting healthy caregiver/child relationships. The DC:0-5™ training covers a multi-axial diagnostic approach, while the IECMH training includes at least twenty one-hour modules on various relevant topics. Applicants must have experience in statewide training, mental health services for young children, and be located in New York State.
