The Oregon Convention Center and Metro are seeking proposals for autonomous floor care equipment designed to perform routine floor cleaning in large public assembly facilities. The goal is to improve operational efficiency, support custodial staffing, enhance cleaning consistency, and provide operational data through autonomous cleaning technology. While the primary focus is on floor care equipment, Metro is also interested in other autonomous equipment such as concierge and wayfinding, security, agriculture, and other sensor-enabled autonomous or semi-autonomous equipment.
