Toronto Public Library (TPL) invites applicants with extensive experience in visual arts and/or creative arts mentorship and community building to fill the role of TPL’s 2026 Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer + (2SLGBTQ+) Creator in Residence (CIR). The CIR will serve as an industry expert in their visual or creative arts discipline, focusing on arts mentorship, creative skill development, and intergenerational community building for intersecting 2SLGBTQ+ communities. The CIR is expected to produce a collaborative creative product that brings together contributions from 2SLGBTQ+ youth and older adults, seniors, and Elders, reflecting shared experiences, with an opportunity to display the finished product at a TPL library branch or online.
