This opportunity is for a three-year IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) contract for the Town of Milton, Vermont (excluding Police and Public Library departments). - Government Buyer: Town of Milton, Vermont (Director of HR & Operations: John Bartlett) - OEMs and Vendors: - Microsoft (Microsoft 365 platform is specifically referenced) - Products/Services Requested: - Comprehensive IT managed services including: - Help desk/end user support (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm; additional rates for nights/weekends) - Infrastructure management (network devices, servers, PCs) - Cybersecurity and compliance (endpoint protection, patch management, EDR anti-virus) - IT strategy and governance (hardware lifecycle management, regular reporting) - Intelligent network monitoring for 7 core network devices (firewall, switches, NAS, wireless, server iDRAC, vCenter) - System monitoring and asset management for 3 Windows servers and 50 Windows PCs - Patch management and endpoint protection for 53 devices - Oversight of 49 Microsoft 365 Business Premium and 23 Business Basic licenses (72 total) - Cloud-to-cloud backup and advanced email security for 72 Microsoft 365 accounts - Onsite and offsite server backup with cloud disaster recovery for 3 servers - Weekly, hardware lifecycle, and executive-level reporting - Unique/Notable Requirements: - MSP must have at least five years of relevant experience - Knowledge of applicable IT standards required - Sufficient staffing and qualifications to fulfill contract - Monthly billing in twelve equal installments per year - Excludes Police Department and Public Library (separate MSP contracts)

Description

The Town of Milton is seeking a three-year contract with an IT Managed Services Provider starting on or about October 1, 2026. The contract excludes the Police Department and Public Library, which have separate MSP contracts. The provider will manage, maintain, and secure the Town's IT infrastructure, minimize downtime, and support users. Key services include help desk support, infrastructure management, cybersecurity and compliance, and IT strategy with hardware lifecycle management. Proposals are due by August 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
