Halifax Regional Water Commission is soliciting quotations for the Lake Major WSP New Fluoride System project located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The scope includes demolition of an existing building, supply and installation of a prefabricated FRP building on the existing slab-on-grade, fluoride storage tanks, process systems including PVC piping, valves, ventilation piping, pipe supports, level monitoring equipment, and installation of owner-supplied fluoride metering pumps. The system will use 30% Hydrofluorosilicic Acid as the primary chemical. The contract duration is 12 months and the procurement method is competitive open bidding under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
