The City of Denton is seeking proposals from professional consultant teams to develop a comprehensive Vision Zero Safety Action Plan and conduct supplemental safety planning activities under the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Planning and Demonstration Grant Program funded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. The project aims to eliminate roadway fatalities and serious injuries by developing strategies, engaging stakeholders, analyzing data, and identifying safety priorities to support future implementation. The scope includes Vision Zero commitment and oversight, comprehensive safety analysis, corridor-level countermeasure analysis, public and stakeholder engagement, regional coordination, policy evaluation, project prioritization, supplemental planning for Windsor Drive, and reporting requirements.
