Chinook School Division has appointed Quorex Construction Services Ltd. as Construction Manager for the Swift Current Comprehensive High School Mechanical, Electrical and Building Code Upgrades project. The project involves modernization of a 26,942 m² Grade 9–12 High School, including comprehensive rehabilitation of mechanical and electrical systems, upgrading life and safety systems to current Canadian Building Code requirements, and potential fire suppression system inclusion. Only prequalified mechanical contractors Pow City Mechanical, Suer and Pollon Mechanical, and Christie Mechanical Ltd. are eligible to submit bids for the mechanical scope.
