This opportunity involves security system installation at the Aviation Training Facility and Hangars 100 & 300 at Danville Regional Airport, supporting aviation programs for Danville Community College and Averett University. - Government Buyer: - City of Danville, Purchasing Department (Director: Carol G. Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) seeks a highly qualified and responsible contractor to perform the installation of security improvements for the Aviation Training Facility building, currently under construction, as well as Hangars 100 and 300. The facility will be shared by Danville Community College and Averett University, with Hangar 100 dedicated to Danville Community College's Aviation Maintenance Training program and Hangar 300 to Averett University's Aeronautics program. The Aviation Training Facility building is 13,244 square feet, Hangar 100 is 3,900 square feet, and Hangar 300 is 6,400 square feet. The work must be completed by December 31, 2026, and proposals are due by September 2, 2026.
