Description
The Melbourne Airport Authority (MAA) is seeking to replace the MEP and HVAC systems within the original terminal constructed in 1989. The project involves replacing the Central Energy Plant (CEP) with an enclosed structure housing new water-cooled chillers and cooling towers on the roof. It includes creating a new main distribution panel for electrical systems serving the CEP and the existing terminal, installing a pre-purchased generator, and other related work. The contractor will be responsible for traffic maintenance, coordination with other contractors, and supporting airport operations during construction, which will occur while the airport remains operational.
