Description
The City of Fresno Department of Transportation (FAX) is seeking professional Architectural & Engineering (A&E) services for evaluation, design, and preparation of construction documents for modernization of elevator systems. The project includes modernization of an Otis hydraulic passenger elevator rated at 2,500 pounds in the FAX administration building and an Otis hydraulic freight elevator with a capacity of 4,000 pounds in the FAX maintenance building. The selected Consultant will assess existing conditions and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and recommendations to support the modernization. This contract is for professional A&E services only; construction services will be procured separately. The Consultant and subconsultants are prohibited from participating in the construction phase as contractors or subcontractors but will provide quality assurance during construction.
