The County of San Mateo Human Resources Department is seeking an Employee Benefits broker-consultant to manage and advise on a wide range of employee benefit and wellness programs for its workforce of approximately 8,400 employees. - Government Buyer: - County of San Mateo Human Resources Department - Scope of Services: - Consulting and management for medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision insurance plans - Employee assistance programs - Life and accident insurance - Disability insurance - Administration of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), COBRA, and commuter/transit benefits - Wellness and voluntary benefit plans - Notable Requirements: - Broker-consultant must service nearly all County benefit and wellness programs (excluding defined benefit retirement plan) - Electronic proposal submission required via eProcurement system - Evaluation based on approach, qualifications, team, price, and local preference - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Contract Details: - Five-year initial term with option to extend for two additional years

The County of San Mateo Human Resources Department is seeking proposals for an Employee Benefits broker-consultant. The scope includes services for various employee benefit plans such as medical, pharmacy, dental, vision insurance, employee assistance programs, life and accident insurance, disability insurance, administrative plans (FSA, HSA, COBRA, Transit), wellness, and voluntary benefit plans.
