Description
This solicitation is for the development of an Arctic Uncrewed Air System (UAS) designed to operate in extreme cold weather conditions. The UAS must be domestically produced, rugged, easy to operate and maintain, and capable of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions in Arctic environments. Key requirements include operation in temperatures from -40°C to +40°C, wind resistance up to 55 km/hr, endurance of at least 90 minutes, and a maximum takeoff weight of 25 kg. The contract duration is 12 months with an estimated value up to $500,000 CAD and a maximum of 5 contracts to be awarded.
