Description

This solicitation is for the development of an uncrewed ground system (UGS) for the Canadian Army designed for ground surveillance and reconnaissance. The system must be domestically produced, rugged, easy to operate and maintain, and highly survivable. It includes a ground vehicle, sensor payload, ground control station, radio, batteries with chargers, and remote antennas. The system must operate in temperatures from -20°C to +40°C, weigh no more than 410kg unladen, have a minimum operational radius of 3 km, and operate at speeds of at least 15 km/hr with a minimum endurance of 4 hours. Additional requirements include obstacle avoidance, low noise emission, transportability, recoverability, and interoperability with existing battle management systems.
