Description

The U.S. Army Aviation Turbine Engines Project Office has a requirement for the production phase of the Improved Turbine Engine utilizing the Middle Tier Acquisition (MTA) pathway.  The procurement of the T901 engines will have contract line items for the procurement of spare parts, special tooling and support equipment, shipping containers, Interim Contractor Logistic Support, Deport Maintenance Work Requirements, Contractor Field Services Representative, and associated training programs. The anticipated scope of this effort includes the planning, development, operational testing, manufacturing and installation activities, production, and integration of the T901 next-generation turbo-shaft engine during the Middle Tier Acquisition phase. The T901 engine will be utilized in the Black Hawk (H-60) and Apache (AH-64E) helicopter fleets.
