In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) / 8.405-6(a)(2), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Malcom Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 (Mail Code 151) intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, Allentown LLC. 165 Route 526 Allentown, NJ 08501

Phantom2 Animal Transfer Stations

Quantity 5 NexGen Mouse 500 IVC systems (mouse rack and cages)

Allentown LLC s products directly support the operational and compliance needs of the Research Service at the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System. The requested equipment is essential to ensuring that the Veterinary Medical Unit (VMU) remains in compliance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and VHA 1200.07 (VA Research With Animals). This acquisition prioritizes the replacement and modernization of core infrastructure required to maintain regulatory compliance, uphold occupational health and safety standards for VMU staff and research personnel, and provide appropriate conditions for animal housing and survival surgery. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332618 and the Business Size Standard is 500 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
