Description
The Department of Defense (DoD) has awarded a contract providing continued operational support for Mobility Air Forces (MAF) Tactical Data Link (TDL) situational awareness systems, encompassing depot support, maintenance, technical refresh, training, and troubleshooting across various air platforms, to enable MAF aircrews with real-time mission re-tasking, improved battle space situational awareness (SA) through real-time mission change reception/transmission, threat environment monitoring, and close air support de-confliction, ultimately informing future acquisition strategies focused on expertise in real-time data link management, interoperability with existing systems, and the ability to support dynamic operational environments.
