The USDA National Center for Animal Health (NCAH) is seeking a comprehensive Temperature Monitoring System (TMS) replacement for its laboratory environments. - Government Buyer: - US Department of Agriculture (USDA), National Center for Animal Health (NCAH) - Products and Equipment Requested: - 1,150 temperature monitoring probes for various lab equipment (ultra-low freezers, refrigerators, water baths, liquid nitrogen tanks, incubators, etc.) - Complete TMS hardware and software suite, including receivers, transmitters, add-ons, tools, cables, and batteries - System must monitor temperature (-160.0C to +60.0C), relative humidity (0%-100%), carbon dioxide (0%-100%), and oxygen (0%-100%) - Cellular-capable data transmission required - Services Requested: - On-site technical support (up to 24 weeks per year) - Preventive maintenance and operational verification (ISO-compliant) - Calibration services (ISO 17025 accredited) - Software maintenance and upgrades (USDA IT security compliant) - Battery replacement and hardware checks - Installation and troubleshooting (including provision of any unanticipated equipment at no extra cost) - Corrective maintenance with 5-day response time - Warranty and no-cost replacement for failures within 12 months - 24/7/365 live technical support and emergent response within 12 hours - Support for ISO audits - Unique/Notable Requirements: - System must comply with USDA security and Section 508 accessibility standards - Full system functionality and ongoing support are critical - All calibration and maintenance must meet ISO standards - No specific OEMs or brands are named; the opportunity is open to all qualified vendors.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12639526Q0199 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a temperature Monitoring System (TMS), system to monitor critical laboratory environments, including ultra-low temperature units, refrigerators, freezers, etc. The system will require 1,150 temperature probes installed, annual maintenance, annual calibration, software upgrades and onsite technical support.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 334290  The small business size standard is 800 employees  This acquisition is an unrestricted requirement.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
