The VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) requires remediation of localized visible mold growth in the Telecom Room (aka Control Room) of Building 10 at the Lyons Campus. Localized areas of heavy mold growth are present on specific portions of wall surfaces, however, the majority of wall surfaces in the room do not exhibit visible mold growth. Visible suspect mold growth was not observed on the floor, ceiling or telecommunications equipment.

The objective of this Work Plan is to remove visible mold growth by non-destructive cleaning methods, restore affected surfaces to a visibly clean condition, and verify the effectiveness of the remediation through visual inspection and post-remediation air sampling in order to prepare the room for routine occupancy.
