Description
The County requires a Qualified Person (QP) to characterize excess soil at six project areas in advance of construction, in accordance with O. Reg. 406/19 and the Rules for Soil Management and Excess Soil Quality Standards. This work will establish soil quality classifications, volumes, and receiving site acceptance criteria for each area. The results will be presented in a form suitable for bidders in the County's 2027 construction contracts to price excess soil haulage and disposal based on classified soil. The tender includes instructions to bidders, specific conditions, general provisions, special provisions, and bid submission forms.
