The Cherokee Nation is seeking bids for a new heavy-duty trailer to support its operational needs. - Government Buyer: - Cherokee Nation, based in Tahlequah, Oklahoma - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs are named; bidders may propose any manufacturer that meets or exceeds the specifications - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) heavy-duty trailer with the following key specifications: - 16,000–18,000 lbs Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) - T8X Goose Neck Channel Power Tilt Steel Floor model - 24-foot all-tilt steel floor - Knife edge rear - 83" between drive-over fenders - 2 5/16" 30K round goose neck coupler - Standard height I-beam neck with front toolbox - Winch plate and spare mount - 6x2 1/4" tube frame, 3" channel on 12" centers - Two 8K Dexter electric/hydraulic disc brake axles with torsion spring suspension - ST215/75R17.5 wheels and tires (plus spare and mount) - Extra D-rings - 12.5k+ winch with wireless remote, battery, and charging - Two electric/hydraulic jacks - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Indian Preference applies; TERO certification through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office is required for preference - All bids must be submitted on the mandatory bid response sheet - Delivery lead time must be specified in the bid - Award will be based on lowest responsive bid considering cost and availability

Description

The Cherokee Nation is accepting bids from interested parties for a new trailer. Bidders are to provide a bid to furnish a product equal to or better than the specifications provided. Indian Preference applies, and bidders must be TERO certified through the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employment Rights Office. Bids must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on August 18, 2026. The award will be based on the lowest most responsive and responsible bid taking Indian Preference into consideration.
