NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic is seeking proposals for the demolition of existing exterior metal panels and installation of a new overhead roll up door at Building 4305, MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division Cherry Point - U.S. Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point - Products/Services Requested: - Demolition of exterior metal panels - Installation of a spring counterbalanced, electric-powered coiling overhead roll-up door with interlocking slats - Door size: approximately 20' W x 21.3' H - Wind loading requirement: withstand 50 psf per ANSI/DASMA 108 - Includes structural modifications, flashing, power supply, hardware, safety interlocks, and remote control stations - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with Buy American construction materials - Security and access requirements, including DBIDS enrollment - Bonds required based on proposal amount - Only Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) holders listed in the solicitation are eligible to submit proposals - Project completion required within 180 calendar days after contract award - Technical details and specifications provided in attachments

Description

The intent of this work is demolish existing exterior metal panels and provide an overhead door in Building 4305 and incidental related work. Only the MACC holders listed on the first page of the solicitation may submit a proposal for this project. See attached RFP for addtional information.
