Description
This solicitation is for timber stand improvement at the Calico Creek properties located at the confluence of Calico Creek and the Big River in Missouri. The project involves thinning eastern red cedar and undesirable saplings as prescribed in the Forest Management Plans for the properties. The forested areas include ecological sites such as Chert Upland Woodland and Shallow Dolomite Upland Glade/Woodland. The upland areas were heavily harvested 25-30 years ago and now require management to improve forest health and habitat.
