The City of Lawrenceville, Georgia is seeking competitive bids for the Lawrenceville Pedestrian Improvements 2026 project, managed by the Finance Office, Purchasing Department. - Government Buyer: - City of Lawrenceville, Finance Office, Purchasing Department - Project Scope: - Pedestrian infrastructure improvements at Johnson Road, Lawrenceville Highway, and other city locations - Traffic control for vehicles and pedestrians per MUTCD and GDOT standards - Erosion control using mulch, temporary grassing, silt fence, and sodding - Site work including clearing, grubbing, grading, demolition, and excavation - Concrete paving: 4-inch sidewalks (total 1,020 SY), 8-inch driveways (5 units), 8-inch x 24/30-inch curb & gutter (1,380 LF), ADA ramps (Type A, B, D; 15 units total) - Installation of 42-inch metal safety rails (230 LF) - Thermoplastic and solid traffic striping (multiple widths and colors, over 7,000 LF) - Removal and resetting of highway signs, catch basin reconstruction, and concrete flowable fill - Products/Services Requested: - Mobilization, traffic control, grading, temporary grassing, mulch, silt fence (installation and maintenance), gravel aggregate base, concrete sidewalk, curb & gutter, ADA ramps, metal safety rail, sign removal/reset, thermoplastic and solid traffic striping, sod, portable concrete washout, concrete median, driveway, pavement removal, catch basin work, and flowable fill - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with the latest Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction - Completion required within 60 consecutive calendar days from Notice to Proceed - Three-year warranty period after final acceptance - No specific OEMs or proprietary products are named; standard construction materials and methods are specified - Bidders must provide a 5% bid bond, 100% payment and performance bonds, and insurance from AM Best A-5 or better carriers - Bidders must be authorized to do business in Georgia if incorporated elsewhere
