Description

This solicitation is for the mechanical dredging of approximately 37,299 cubic yards of sediment from the West Bay Inner Entrance Channel and North Bay – Bay Street Channels in West Bay, Osterville, Barnstable, MA. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the dredging and loading of sediments into bottom dumping scows for transportation to unconfined ocean disposal at Cape Cod Bay Disposal Site. The contractor must acquire final disposal coordinates from USACE New England District. The project may involve closures of the Bridge Street drawbridge and sections of North Bay Channel, and the Town will permit usage of Cotuit Town Dock and mooring in Cotuit Bay Mooring field.
