TARTA Bus Shelter Cleaning, Maintenance, and Optional Snow Removal Services

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) is seeking qualified contractors to provide cleaning and maintenance services for its passenger bus shelters. - Scope includes: - Weekly interior and exterior cleaning, litter removal, trash disposal, cobweb removal, glass and bench cleaning, and shelter structure cleaning for approximately 86 shelters (expanding to 121 within three years) - Semi-monthly power washing and deep cleaning using environmentally safe methods - Graffiti removal with strict response times (offensive graffiti within 24 hours, other graffiti within 72 hours) - Inspection and electronic reporting of shelter conditions and deficiencies - Emergency response cleaning for vandalism, debris, biohazards, storms, or accidents (hourly rates requested) - Optional snow and ice removal services, including rapid response (within 4 hours of snowfall over 2 inches), use of approved de-icing products, and various pricing options (per event, seasonal, emergency, ice control) - Contractors must maintain proper licensing, insurance, OSHA compliance, and employee training - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Pricing must be provided for each service component - Services may be awarded separately or as a combined contract

The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide weekly cleaning, inspection, litter removal, and maintenance services for passenger bus shelters throughout TARTA's service area.
