The City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency is seeking qualified firms to provide On-Call Right of Way Specialty Services for property management, appraisals, title, negotiation, and related consulting tasks. - Government Buyer: - City of Santa Ana Public Works Agency (Office: Public Works Agency; M-36) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; multiple firms will be selected per specialty area - Services Requested: - Acquisition & Relocation Services - Good faith negotiations for right-of-way purchases - Escrow coordination, relocation advisory, claim preparation, eviction notices, condemnation support - Property Management Services - Lease administration, rent collection, eviction services, property maintenance, security, utility coordination, tenant liaison - Property Appraisal Services - Appraisal reports for full/partial acquisitions (residential, commercial, industrial, easements), review appraisals compliant with state laws and USPAP - Business Goodwill Appraisal Services - Loss of goodwill appraisals for negotiations and condemnation, budgetary estimates, expert testimony - Furniture, Fixtures, Machinery and Equipment (FFME) Appraisal Services - Appraisal of business fixtures/equipment, inventory, valuation reports, coordination with other appraisers - Quantities: - Multiple contracts per specialty area; contract maximums range from $200,000 to $600,000 - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Firms must have been in business continuously for five years and have at least three years of recent relevant experience - Specific licensing and experience requirements for each specialty area - Compliance with state laws, USPAP, and notarized certifications - Detailed fee schedule, non-collusion, non-discrimination, CARB fleet compliance, Community Workforce Agreement - Proposals submitted electronically via PlanetBids, plus five sealed hard copies for verification - Pricing firm for initial term, CPI-based adjustments possible for renewals

Description

The City of Santa Ana is seeking proposals from qualified firms and organizations to provide Right of Way Specialty Services. The contract term is initially one year with the possibility of four one-year extensions, not to exceed five years total. Contractors must have been in business continuously for the past five years and have at least three years of recent experience performing similar services. Proposals must be submitted electronically and five sealed hard copies must be delivered by the deadline.
