This opportunity is issued by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime - Portsmouth, under the Department of Defense, for the supply of forged beryllium plates and associated certification and inspection data for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency Maritime, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard - Products Requested: - Forged beryllium plates meeting ASTM-B570 standards, alloy C17200, temper TB00 - 1 plate, 3ft x 3ft x 3.75" thick - 6 plates, 3ft x 3ft x 3.75" thick - 3 plates, 3ft x 3ft x 2.75" thick - All plates require specific heat treatment and ultrasonic testing (UT) per referenced drawings and notes - Services/Data Requirements: - Certification of compliance (DI-MISC-81356A) - Chemical & mechanical certification data (DI-MISC-80678) - Heat treatment test/inspection reports - Ultrasonic testing (UT) procedure approval (UDI-T-23732-B, NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271-REV-1) - UT test results (DI-NDTI-80809B) - All data items are one-time submissions with technical content and test results - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Compliance with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity assessment - Adherence to Buy American Act provisions - Vendors must specify country of origin and, if not the manufacturer, provide manufacturer details - Submission of Military Critical Tech Data Agreement (DD 2345) required for access to technical drawings - Procurement is set aside for SBA-qualified vendors - No specific OEMs or manufacturers are named; the solicitation is open to qualified sources able to meet the technical and certification requirements.

Description

The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing Beryllium Plate IAW attached documents (Notes: Vendor shall list the country of origin for each line item & If not the actual manufacturer- Manufacturer's Name, Location, and Business Size must be provided) . 

NOTE: OFFERORS MUST COMPLETE THE ATTACHED PROVISIONS 52.204-24, 52.204-26, 2S2.204-7016, AND 252.204-7019AND INCLUDE THE COMPLETED PROVISIONS WITH THEIR OFFER.

Referenced drawing will be provided with submission of attached security agreement AND active DD 2345 (Military Critical Tech Data Agreement)
