The USDA Forest Service, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, is seeking construction services for a comprehensive sewer system replacement at the Island Park Administration Site in Idaho. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Forest Service, Caribou-Targhee National Forest, Island Park Ranger District - Scope of Work: - Replacement of two sewage lift stations with a single new lift station - Installation of gravity and pressure sewer pipelines (PVC and HDPE, various diameters) - Relocation of pressure sewer pipeline - Construction staking, mobilization, removal and disposal of existing structures - Installation of utility boxes, sewer manholes (48" diameter), drop manholes, cleanouts, RV sewer hookups - Electrical system and supply, including lift station backup generator - Rock excavation, site grading, asphalt pavement patching, crushed aggregate base - Locating system access points (grounded and non-grounded) - Multiple optional items for replacing portions of the site sewer collection system, including sidewalk replacement - Products & Quantities: - Over 20 distinct line items for sewerline installation (e.g., 450 LF of 4" HDPE pressure sewerline, 1220 LF of 8" PVC gravity sewerline) - 7 sewer manholes, 2 drop manholes, numerous cleanouts and RV hookups - Significant quantities for excavation, backfill, and paving - OEMs & Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named; materials specified by type and standard (e.g., PVC SDR 35, HDPE DR 11, C-900 Class 165) - Unique Requirements: - Project includes both base and optional items, with some deletions from base scope - All work must comply with technical specifications and standards referenced in attachments - Set aside for small business concerns under NAICS 237110

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial construction prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1240LT26Q0104 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Island Park Sewer System Replacement on the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

This project includes the replacement of two sewage lift stations with a single lift station serving the Island Park Administration Site on the Island Park District of the Caribou- Targhee National Forest. Associated work will include installation of connecting gravity sewer pipelines and a relocated pressure sewer pipeline, along with several optional items for replacing portions of the site sewer collection system.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification System Code is 237110. The small business size standard is $45 Million. This acquisition is a total Small Business set-aside.   All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
