Description
This notice serves to notify industry and the public that the 325th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit for OMAX & HAAS Machinery Preventative Maintenance. Quotes, proposals, or bids will NOT be accepted in response to this notice. Any unsolicited quotes or offers received will be discarded and will not be evaluated by the Government.
The 325th Contracting Squadron requires annual preventative maintenance and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specific maintenance checks for Government-owned OMAX and HAAS machinery located at Tyndall AFB, FL. This service must be performed by certified service technicians to ensure machinery operates at full capacity, preserves precision, and maintains compliance with OEM warranty standards.
We intend to award a sole-source contract to Phillips Corp. Phillips Corp is currently the only known source capable of meeting these specific OEM-certified maintenance requirements for the Air Force Metals Technology shop without risking equipment downtime, warranty voidance, or unacceptable delays in mission support.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation document will not be issued. However, any responsible party that believes it can meet this requirement (specifically holding the required OEM certifications for both OMAX and HAAS machinery) may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer listed below. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
