Description
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) is seeking information from the marketplace regarding digital solutions to support the modernization of Ontario’s International Registration Plan (IRP) program. The IRP program registers commercial vehicles operating across Canadian provinces and participating U.S. jurisdictions, serving over 5,000 carrier accounts and 57,000 vehicles. MTO is interested in innovative, cloud-based, and configurable solutions that improve service delivery, enhance client experience, and reduce manual and paper-based processes. The solutions should support online account management, vehicle and fleet registration, application processing, payments, document management, reporting, compliance, security, and integration with related transportation and regulatory systems. This Request for Information (RFI) will inform future procurement planning and potential solution requirements.
