The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announces the award of approximately $1,000,000 for Federal Fiscal Year 2026 funding to the International Rescue Committee (IRC), subject to availability of funds. The award supports the implementation of strategies to reduce the transmission of communicable and emerging diseases in mobile populations in overseas settings. The period of performance is from September 30, 2026, through September 29, 2031. IRC is uniquely positioned to conduct this work as it operates in more than 30 crisis-affected countries providing healthcare and public health services to globally mobile populations in refugee camps.
