The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Forest Service is seeking nominations for membership on the Secure Rural Schools Resource Advisory Committees (RAC) pursuant to the Secure Rural Schools (SRS) and Community Self-Determination Act of 2000 and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA). The committees provide advice and recommendations to the Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II. Nominations must include the nominee's name, resume, and completed AD-755 Form and be submitted via email or postmarked within 90 days from the publication date, August 14, 2026. The committees consist of 15 members representing various interest groups and serve four-year terms without compensation, though travel expenses may be reimbursed.
