The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is announcing a virtual meeting of the National Organic Standards Board (Board) to discuss and vote on proposed recommendations related to organic production standards. The Board advises USDA on the implementation of the Organic Foods Production Act and the development of standards for substances used in organic production. The meeting will be held virtually from October 27-29, 2026, with oral public comments via webinars on October 20 and 22, 2026. Written comments are due by October 1, 2026. The meeting is open to the public and accessible online.
