ISSUE DATE 14-AUG-2026 – CLOSING DATE 26-AUG-2026 – 11:00 PM Eastern Time
ITEM DESCRIPTION- Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for a Firm Fixed Priced, Non-Commercial, Service effort for Overhaul and Repair of a quantity of 28 LL03 Gyroscopes, MIL-G-81168 in accordance with the Statement of Work. Vendors will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, supervision, and shipping back FOB to Crane, IN 47522-5001 in accordance with the Statement of Work. Period of Performance for this effort is approximately 120 calendar days.
The Navy intends to solicit this contract on a full and open competition basis after exclusion of sources as a small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.5. Delivery is required at FOB Destination NSWC Crane Facility. The solicitation will be made available posted on sam.gov. All changes that occur to competitive actions prior to the closing date will be posted to Contract Opportunities on https:/sam.gov/. For within scope changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and / or award.

This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13.101(b) for Non-Commercial actions using simplified procedures as a written Firm Fixed Priced Request for Quotes . Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-26-Q-0253 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto.
