SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, managed by Stanford University for the Department of Energy, is soliciting quotations for CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diamond plates. - Buyer: SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (Stanford University, Department of Energy) - Products requested: - CVD diamond plates, polycrystalline, optical grade, 10x10 mm - 50 plates at 50 microns thickness (±5 microns) - 50 plates at 100 microns thickness (±10 microns) - Both thicknesses require polished surfaces with surface roughness Ra < 10 nm - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable requirements: - Compliance with the Buy American Act for unit prices over $15,000 - Completion of Representations & Certifications Rider - Proposals must include Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code) and Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) if applicable - Only product supply is required; no on-site services permitted - Domestic and foreign supplier freight terms are specified - All subcontractors must be registered in SAM.gov

Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy. As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

Buy American Act Certification (BAA) applies to awards over $15,000 unit price.

Representations & Certifications Rider is required. Once completed the Reps and Certs is valid for one year until renewal. If you have already completed one within the year please disregard. Otherwise, please complete and return.

Please include in your proposals the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS Code)& Export Control Classification Number (ECCN)  if applicable.

All subcontractors are required to register in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov).

If possible, please provide a link to your webpage for published price list to substantiate for the prices quoted.

The resulting purchase order will be issued on a fixed price basis. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory Terms and Conditions for Fixed Price Commercial Supplies and Services (Rev. August 2023) as well as the SLAC General Terms and Conditions Supplemental Rider(Aug2026_Rev1) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please markup terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.

Payment Terms will be NET-30

Domestic Suppliers - Freight terms will be FOB Destination Prepaid and Add.

Foreign Supplier - Shipment will be made CIP SLAC, Menlo Park, and Duty Unpaid.
