This opportunity is issued by the U.S. Embassy Tegucigalpa (GSO, Acquisitions Unit) for the supply, delivery, installation, and maintenance of two walk-in cold rooms for the morgue in Choluteca, Honduras. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Embassy Tegucigalpa, GSO, Acquisitions Unit - OEMs and Vendors: - Refrigeration equipment must be brand name or equal to Bohn (OEM highlighted) - Products/Services Requested: - Two walk-in cold rooms: - 1 Body Refrigerator (CF-01-R) at 2°C - 1 Body Freezer (CF-02-F) at -15°C - Each with modular insulated panels, stainless steel floors, swing doors with security locks, vinyl curtains, and entry ramps - Refrigeration equipment (condensing and evaporator units) for both rooms (2 sets each, brand name or equal to Bohn) - Supply and installation of PVC drainage pipes, copper refrigeration pipes, and insulation - Supply and installation of alarms, controls, and accessories (including remote monitoring, programmable digital display, interior LED lighting, and water extraction pump) - Installation services for all equipment - Preventive maintenance (quarterly for one year) - Training (minimum 200 minutes, manuals in Spanish) - Transportation to Choluteca, Honduras - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Equipment must be brand name or equal to Bohn for refrigeration units - Strict compliance with technical specifications (dimensions, temperature, materials, security features, remote monitoring) - Manuals and training must be provided in Spanish - Preventive maintenance required for one year - Delivery and installation within 98 calendar days; maintenance over 12 months

Description

The American Embassy in Tegucigalpa requires a vendor that can supply, deliver, and install two walk-in cold rooms for the morgue in Choluteca in strict compliance with the specifications detailed on the solicitation document.

Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.202, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract.

All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposal.
