The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Anniston Army Depot is seeking a contractor to provide and install a 5-ton bridge crane for Building 129. - Government Buyer: - Department of Defense, U.S. Army Contracting Command, Anniston Army Depot - Contract Specialist: Zena Johnson - Products/Equipment Requested: - One (1) 5-ton (10,000 lb) top-running, single-girder bridge crane, painted safety yellow - Includes electric chain hoist (5-ton capacity, two-speed, VFD controlled, 480V, pendant and radio controls) - Hoist trolley (5-ton, two-speed, VFD controlled) - Bridge system (approx. 27 ft span, 24 ft height, dual speed, insulated conductor rails, safety features) - Documentation package: operator's manuals, maintenance manuals, spare parts lists (4 printed, 1 electronic) - Services Required: - Complete installation (including all labor, materials, electrical, plumbing, foundation, and safety compliance) - Acceptance testing (no-load/load tests, safety inspections, operational verification) - Training (1 hour each for operation and maintenance) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Crane must meet CMAA moderate service requirements and comply with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and AWS standards - Installation and operation must be completed within 60 days after work begins - Procurement is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 333923 (Overhead Traveling Crane, Hoist, and Monorail System Manufacturing) - All technical literature, shop drawings, and manuals must be provided - No specific OEMs or part numbers are specified; the opportunity is open to qualified manufacturers meeting the technical and compliance requirements
