The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking bids for a custom-built airboat and trailer package for law enforcement and park operations. - Government Buyer: - Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), State Parks Division, Purchasing and Contracting Office - OEMs and Vendors: - Example OEMs referenced: American Airboat, Diamondback Airboat - Acceptable equivalents must be approved by TPWD - Vendors must hold a valid Marine Dealer, Distributor, or Manufacturer License per Texas Parks and Wildlife Code 31.041 - Dealers/distributors must provide current manufacturer authorization for the specific make/model - Products/Services Requested: - One custom-built airboat (approx. 20 ft x 8 ft, aluminum construction, minimum 600 HP engine, built-in propeller) - One custom-built boat trailer (minimum 22 ft, 7,000 lb load, aluminum or galvanized steel, tandem/leaf spring axles, disc brakes, LED lights) - USCG-approved fire extinguisher with brackets - Delivery of fully assembled airboat and trailer to Austin, TX - Optional accessories: - Two 8-foot blade model power poles (or TPWD-approved equivalent) - Four Sampson Racing Communications wireless OTH headsets with Bluetooth (or equivalent) - One Garmin Tread XL Baja Race Edition 10 GPS unit with In-Reach (or equivalent) - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All items must be delivered fully assembled as a single unit - Detailed technical specifications for airboat and trailer - Optional accessories must meet or exceed specified models - Line-item pricing required for each component for property reporting - Inspection and acceptance within five working days of delivery - Delivery requires one week advance notice

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is seeking to purchase one custom-built airboat package, which includes built-in engines and propellers, along with one boat trailer for the airboat. The procurement requires the airboat and trailer to be delivered fully assembled as a single unit, with line-item costs provided for property reporting purposes. The contract will only be awarded to respondents holding an active and valid Marine Dealer License, Marine Distributor License, or Marine Manufacturer License as required by Parks and Wildlife Code 31.041.
