Description

This is a pre-solicitation notice and not a request for quotes, bids, or proposals. The purpose of this is to give industry a heads-up that a requirement will be forthcoming. A solicitation will be posted that includes further requirement specifications and contract terms and conditions.The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement for sandbar willow (Salix interior) cutting collection and planting in Mississippi River Pools 3 and 5A. In total, at each site there will be three 1,000 linear feet long rows totaling 3,000 linear feet. Each row will have 250 willow stakes planted totaling 750 stakes at each site. Work will be implemented on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) owned lands, but these lands are also incorporated into the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife and Fish Refuge (Refuge). It is estimated that this project will be solicited within the next week. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project will be 561730; Landscaping Services with a size standard of $9.5 Million. The resulting contract shall be a Firm, Fixed-Price contract.The solicitation shall be a Total Small Business set-aside. The solicitation will be a request for quote (RFQ).Product requirements will be further defined in the forthcoming solicitation. This synopsis is not a request for quotes, proposals, or bids.
