Description

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) EMS Development Corporation ESCO Maritime Advanced Degaussing Systems Parts.

This requirement is sole sourced to OEM EMS Development Corporation due to design, manufacturing data, and technical specifications for the degaussing system components are proprietary to EMS Development Corporation. The Government does not own the data rights to reproduce these parts from other sources. The parts are direct replacements for components within the main Degaussing System Switchboard. No other parts will work because the form, fit, function, and electrical characteristics are unique to the ESCO Maritime system. The use of non-original equipment manufacturer parts would compromise the integrity and certified performance of the degaussing system. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Quotes will be evaluated in accordance with RFO 12.203, the Government will select the most advantageous offer based on the following evaluation factors: technical including delivery date, price, and past performance in no order of relative importance.
