Catawba County Utilities & Engineering Department is seeking qualified contractors for the Magnolia Cove Subdivision Stormwater Pond Project in Sherrills Ford, NC. - Government Buyer: - Catawba County Utilities & Engineering Department, Purchasing Department - Project Scope: - Modifications to an existing stormwater pond - Riser outfall structure adjustments, including: - Installation of a 2-inch diameter weephole - Modification or elimination of current 8-inch PVC to 2-inch diameter - Addition of an 8-inch diameter gate valve to the 8-inch drain pipe - Construction of a concrete emergency spillway (10 ft bottom width, 3:1 side slopes, 1 ft deep) - Installation of rip-rap aprons and filter fabric at four pipe inlets - Addition of a concrete outlet structure and riprap apron to a fourth pipe inlet - Construction of a forebay berm (approx. 70 ft from back of forebay, riprap weir, 2:1 and 3:1 slopes, 20 ft bottom width) - Grading of pond bank and stabilization with Bermuda Grass sod and specified plantings - Requirements: - All labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to be provided by contractor - Adherence to detailed construction drawings and plant lists for stabilization - Lump sum bid for all work - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the solicitation - Notable: Warranty for labor and materials is required for one year from final inspection
