Los Angeles County is seeking load bank testing services for seven emergency diesel generators at Los Angeles General Hospital. - Government Buyer: - County of Los Angeles, Internal Services Department (Engineering (IPT) Facilities Management) and Department of Health Services - OEMs and Vendors: - Motoren Turbinen Union (MTU) is the OEM for the generators - Products/Services Requested: - Load bank testing for seven (7) stand-by emergency diesel generators (MTU, 2,000kW, 4,160V) - Rental of one (1) trailer-mounted 2500KVA multi-tap transformer assembly (480V to 4160V) - Rental of 1300 feet of heavy-duty double-insulated 480V Cam-Lok cabling (26 cables at 50 ft each) - Rental of 26 male and 26 female heavy-duty double-insulated 480V Cam-Lok pigtail connectors - On-site technician labor for 10 consecutive business days (NETA Level 3 certified, minimum five years' experience) - Transportation services for delivery and pick-up of rental equipment - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All technicians must be NETA Level 3 certified or higher - Vendor must have at least five years of relevant experience - Four-hour load bank test per generator, following specified load increments and durations - Mandatory job walk for all bidders - Compliance with prevailing wage laws and submission of required certifications
