This solicitation is for the development of two new access areas at Elk Knob State Park located in Watauga County, North Carolina. The North Access Area will include a new entry drive, restroom building, small maintenance storage, ADA access trail, and parking lot. The South Site will feature a new picnic shelter with attached restrooms, small maintenance storage building, parking lot, and trailhead. Both sites require full utility connections including water, power, and sewer. The total project budget is $7,212,000 funded by the Parks and Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF).
