Description

Diablo Valley College intends to repatriate certain cultural items defined as unassociated funerary objects, sacred objects, and/or objects of cultural patrimony that have cultural affiliation with Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations. The items include one lot of beads, three water bottles (jugs), three cradleboards, and a winnowing tray, with one item currently missing. These items were removed from locations in California and Nevada and donated to Diablo Valley College. Repatriation may occur on or after September 14, 2026. Requests for repatriation must be sent to Diablo Valley College.
